“Form follows function-That has been misunderstood. Form and function should be one, joined in a spiritual union.”
-Frank Lloyd Wright
Graphic Design is my career passion! I enjoy working on projects that allow me to have creative vision, but also implementation. For example, I enjoy front end web design because it is not only coding and layout; it is also creative imagery that works with that coding and layout. Just the same in print layouts such as brochures, magazine spreads, and catalogs where it is more than just grid architecture but tangible projects.
Excellent design takes into consideration many ways a project may be used and if it will bring people in the realm of what is balanced, cohesive, structured properly, readable, understandable, means something to the user, usable in most situations, and historically correct. Typography is extremely important in good design aesthetics. Type can be paired nicely together when there is knowledge of type shape and kind. Good design principles make all the difference in how a company or individual is perceived in their professional endeavors. My focus is always on the end targeted user.
